BATAVIA, NY… The #13 nationally ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team defeated the Finger Lakes CC Lakers 111-74 Saturday afternoon, as well as celebrating the second-year players and thanking them for their dedication and hard work to the program.
Said Adam had a double-double, scoring 18 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Izick Reaves scored 16 points. Damani Hinks scored 17 points off the bench. Keysaun Murray added 12 points, while Scotty Lee scored nine, and Jerry Ortiz added seven. Izayah Reaves scored seven points. Nick Rodriguez scored five. Elijah Johnson added nine points, while Talha Aamir scored four points and Adonys Villafane scored seven points.
Genesee will be the host site for the 2026 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball championships taking place February 27-March 1 inside the Anthony Zambito Gymnasium on the Batavia main campus.
