BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team earned their third consecutive win to kick off their 2019-20 season with a 69-65 victory over the Jefferson Community College Cannoneers Tuesday night.
Erina Ishiguro had a game-high 26 points to lead all scorers. Tylasia Weaver recorded her third double-double on the season with 11 points and 14 rebounds to go along with her six assists. LisBeth Pineda Polanco scored 13 points and added five assists and three blocks. Molly Buck had a game-high four blocks.
Genesee will play SUNY Ulster on Saturday at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, NY at 3pm in the NCCC Tip-Off Classic.
