After its seven-game winning streak was ended on Monday night, the Genesee Community College women's soccer team will look to get back to its winning ways when the Cougars travel to Jamestown Community College on Wednesday afternoon, ending a five-game road stretch.
Genesee (8-3) is 3-1 on its current road trip and will return home on Saturday for the first of three straight home games.
Jamestown (5-7) has won two of its last three and the Jayhawks currently hold the 11th spot in the Region III Division III standings.
Last time out:
The Cougars lost a 4-0 decision on the road at Division I Monroe Community College on Monday. Genesee was shut out for the first time this season, failing to score for the first time since 9/3/13 against MCC. Maddie Potter made 11 saves in net.
Jamestown defeated Tompkins-Cortland Community College 2-1 on the road on Oct. 4. Kristen Green and Samantha Mann recorded the Jayhawk goals and Emily Means made 13 stops in goal.
What to watch for:
JCC is 4-2 against common opponents so far this season.
Genesee is 2-2 vs. Jamestown since 2010.
Wednesday will mark the final regular season road match for GCC. The Cougars are 4-3 on the road so far this season.
