The No. 4 Cougars overcame a slow start against visiting Tompkins-Cortland CC on Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten on the season after a 5-2 win.
Genesee was quickly in a 2-0 hole after the Panthers scored in the 5th and 10th minutes.
Job Ayuba tied the game at two after Godoi set up his second goal of the first half. Ayuba fired a low shot from outside of 20 yards to score his first goal of the season.
Godoi then gave GCC a lead it would not give back in the 42nd minute, scoring from 40 yards out on a shot that snuck under the crossbar in the upper right.
Genesee tallied the only two goals of the second half after Sofiane Hamadi found the back of the net in the 57th minute and Samuel King cashed in in the 82nd. Glenn Holmes and Seaton earned the assists, respectively.
GCC goalkeeper David Ormiston earned his third straight victory in net, making one save during the game.
Genesee (3-0-1) will travel to Niagara County CC on Wednesday to take on the Thunderwolves at 5 p.m.
