Off to an 0-3 start to the fall, the Genesee Community College men's soccer team will return home on Wednesday to host Monroe Community College and look to tally its first win of the season.
The Cougars went winless this weekend at the Herkimer County Community College tournament, falling 2-1 to Bergen Community College and 4-1 to Bunker Hill Community College.
The Tribunes are 1-2 in their first three games this season and will play their third of five consecutive road games on Wednesday.
Last time out:
Genesee dropped a 4-1 decision to Bunker Hill Community College on Aug. 31. The Cougars have been outscored 7-2 in their first three games so far this season.
MCC picked up its first win of the year on the road against Durham College, 3-1. The win snapped an 0-2 start to the year for the Tribunes.
What to watch for:
Genesee last defeated Monroe in 2010 (2-1 win on 9/8/10). The Cougars are 0-2-1 in the last three meetings against the Tribunes.
The last time GCC started a season 0-3 was in 2009.
