The road to the Region III Finals will run through No. 1 Onondaga Community College for the GCC men's lacrosse team as the No. 4 Cougars will face off with OCC in the semi-finals on Saturday at Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
Genesee (6-8) has won four straight games and has advanced to the regional semifinals for the fourth consecutive season.
Onondaga (13-0) remains unbeaten this year and the Lazers are in search of their 10th consecutive Region III Title.

Genesee defeated Jefferson Community College 19-11 in the Region III Quarterfinals on Wednesday.
The Cougars trailed early in the second quarter but outscored the Cannoneers 11-4 in the second half to pull away for the victory.
Onondaga rolled through its quarterfinal opponent, defeating Dean College 29-1 on Wednesday.
Vaughn Harris led the Lazers with five goals and Warren Hill and Jason Ketchoylan combined to stop 13 of 14 shots on goal.
