After winning two out of three on its most recent road trip, the no. 6 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team will return home on Saturday to host Hudson Valley Community College.
The Cougars scored an average of 9.3 goals per game while on the road and split a pair of one-goal games, defeating Howard Community College (6-5) and losing to no. 2 Community College of Baltimore County-Essex (8-7).
Genesee enters Saturday's game at 3-2 and 1-0 in Western New York Athletic Conference play.
Saturday will mark the first contest of the season for Hudson Valley.
Last time out:
Genesee defeated Monroe Community College in its WNYAC opener on Wednesday, 15-11. Tyler Skowronski, Tyler Godfrey and Josh Wester each scored four goals for the Cougars. Region III co-Male Athlete of the Week Craig Seneca made 13 saves in net to earn the win.

What to watch for:
Craig Seneca is second in all of NJCAA with 82 saves this season.
GCC is 3-3 vs. HVCC in the last six meetings and the Cougars have won three straight.
The average margin of victory in Genesee's last three wins against HVCC is 13.3 goals.
