Coming off of a win over nationally-ranked Mercyhurst North East, the GCC men's basketball team will look to make it three in a row on Thursday night when the Cougars host Niagara County Community College.
Genesee (15-6, 2-3) has won back-to-back Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) games and will end the regular season series against Niagara County on Thursday night.
Niagara County (12-8, 2-3) has lost its last three contests, all of which were WNYAC games.
LAST TIME OUT:
Genesee shot better than 58-percent from the field in the second half on Tuesday night to defeat No. 20 Mercyhurst North East, 86-78. Alex Morris scored a game high 32 points and shot 9-10 in the second half. Anthony Williams added 16 second half points and 19 total for the game, along with six assists. Terrence Brown recorded the game's only double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds and Rahsaan Williams, Devante Carolina and Amancho Adopo each added five points apiece.
Niagara County lost on the road at Jamestown CC, 101-94. The Thunderwolves had five players reach double-figures in scoring, led by Mike McQuillen who finished with 20 points. Justin Alleyne-Washington added 17 points and Francisco Williams, Elijah McNeely and Kofi Mills each scored 12 point apiece.
