The Genesee Community College men's basketball team picked up its 20th win of the 2014-2015 season on Wednesday night, knocking off visiting University of Pittsburgh Titusville, 108-60.
GCC grabbed 69 rebounds in the game, the second highest single-game total in school history (72 rebounds vs. Mercyhurst North East on Dec. 20, 2014). The Cougars were plus-27 in that category on the night.
Ervin Mitchell led six Cougars in double-digits, finishing with 22 points. Rahsaan Williams grabbed 22 rebounds, his second 20-plus rebounding effort of the season and scored 16 points. Devante Carolina added 19 points, Ryan Chung scored 14, Joshua Doughty finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, Gabriel Burroughs added 11 points and Tre'Shaun Perry dished out six assists.
GCC finishes its second consecutive season with 20 or more wins. The Cougars will await its seeding for the Region III Division II Tournament, which begins on Feb. 24.
