Still looking to snap a four-game losing streak, the Cougars will welcome no. 11 Niagara County Community College to the Anthony T. Zambito Gymnasium on Thursday night in the second matchup of the season between the two squads.
Genesee (15-6, 1-3) hasn't won since Jan. 14 and has seen its Western New York Athletic Conference winless stretch reach three straight games, tying the longest drought since the 2004-05 season.
Niagara (20-2, 4-1) has been ranked as high as 5th in the NJCAA National Poll this season and defeated GCC on Jan. 16, 103-87. The Thunderwolves have won six of their last seven contests.

The Cougars had their Tuesday night game against Jamestown Community College-Olean postponed. The matchup has been rescheduled for Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.
Niagara went to overtime at Jamestown Community College on Tuesday night, outlasting the Jayhawks, 92-90. Sheldon Zablotny, Gjaimeir Stanford and EJ Sandoval each scored 18 points for NCCC. Zablotny hit a pair of free-throws in the final seconds of overtime to seal the win for Niagara.
Eli Jones scored a game high 36 points for NCCC in the Jan. 16 contest. Niagara had a total of six scorers reach double figures. Naquil Jones led the way for GCC, scoring 31 points in the loss.
The Thunderwolves edged the Cougars in rebounding in the first matchup, 39-32. Genesee converted just 45.5% (10-22) from the free-throw line.
