The Cougars will end a three game road stretch on Thursday night at Jamestown Community College and try for their 20th win of the season after being denied it in their first chance on Tuesday night.
Genesee (19-7, 4-4) is currently 4th in the Western New York Athletic Conference standings and 5-5 in its last 10 contests.
Jamestown (7-14, 0-7) is still in search of its first conference win and the Jayhawks lost the only game they've played since losing at GCC on Feb. 1.

GCC was denied in its first chance at 20 wins on Tuesday night, falling to Erie Community College on the road, 98-89. Naquil Jones led the Cougars with 24 points and eight rebounds, Ervin Mitchell finished with 23 points and Redell Freeman had eight assists and grabbed six boards. The Cougars were outrebounded 58-37 and gave up 32 second-chance points to the Kats.
Jamestown went to the wire on Feb. 8, losing at Erie Community College, 73-72. Tyreek Jewell led all scorers with 32 points and Ohndo Smith recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 12 rebounds. JCC committed 30 turnovers in the game and lost on two last-second ECC free-throws.
What to watch for:
Four Cougars reached double-figures in scoring in the first meeting against Jamestown on Feb. 1. Ervin Mitchell scored a game high 33 points, Naquil Jones finished with 20 and Jason Perry-Murray and Alex Morris added 10 points apiece.
Genesee committed only seven turnovers in the Feb. 1 meeting, tying the second-lowest total this season (committed seven turnovers vs. Houghton College JV on Nov. 21 and had only four turnovers vs. Mohawk Valley Community College on Nov. 2).
Jamestown's Tyreek Jewell currently leads the country in scoring average, recording 25.8 points per game. GCC's Ervin Mitchell averages 23.7 points per game, 11th best in the country.
