The Genesee Community College men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak last week and on Tuesday night will go for a fourth straight win when it hosts Jamestown Community College-Olean.
Originally scheduled for Jan. 28th, the Cougars will play the Jaguars in the first of two regular-season meetings this year. The two teams will meet again on Feb. 15 at Jamestown.
Genesee (18-6, 3-3) completed a 3-0 week last week, including two Western New York Athletic Conference wins.
JCC-Olean (3-12, 0-4) is looking for its first WNYAC victory of the season.
Last time out:
GCC defeated Herkimer County Community College on a last-second basket by Ervin Mitchell. Naquil Jones scored a game high 29 points, 22 of which came in the first half. Mitchell scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Da'Shawn Suber added 10 assists, his third double-digit assists game of the season.
JCC-Olean dropped an 83-45 decision to Erie Community College on Feb. 1. Jake Chapman and Ray Henton Jr. were in double figures for the Jaguars, scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.
What to watch for:

JCC-Olean committed 22 turnovers in its last game against Erie Community College and scored a season-low 45 points.
GCC's three-game winning streak is currently the second-longest streak in the WNYAC behind Monroe Community College (11 straight wins).
