Dunton reached the podium twice in individual races at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Swimming and Diving National Championships last week and also helped GCC relay teams finish in the top eight three times.
She swam to a seventh place finish in the 1000 free (11:39.50) and a sixth place finish in the 1650 free (19:20.02). Dunton was also a member of the 200 free relay team that set the school record (1:47.68) and finished in seventh place, the 400 free that finished seventh (3:56.20) and the 800 free that finished seventh (8:41.68).
The GCC women's swimming and diving team finished in seventh place at the national championships with 209.5 points.
Podlaski earned All-American status at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Swimming and Diving National Championships and earned three total podium finishes in individual races.
He finished the 1000 free in fourth place with a finishing time of 10:17.62 to earn All-American. Podlaski also reached the podium in the 400 IM with an eighth place finish (4:25.71) and an eighth place finish in the 200 back (2:00.81).
The GCC men's swimming and diving team finished the national championships in eighth place with a total of 269 points.
